Shortly after releasing the article Personal Injury Content Tip #2: E-Cig Explosions, personal injury lawyers began adding content to their websites about E-Cig Explosions.
As of May 2016, the topic is exploding in popularity, and not in a good way.
While reading my SoCal news today an article popped up onto my radar from NBC Los Angeles, who is reporting that a man in Irvine California was injured by an e-cig. He was at his home office having a vape while working when the e-cig exploded. If you haven’t read my other article, this is mostly due to the cheap, Chinese Lithium Ion batteries which are installed in some electronic cigarettes. Debris from the explosion broke his orbital and sinus bones and left shrapnel in his eye. His left eye was completely lost. This will be a big case. It will be interesting to see if this person selects a personal injury lawyer based upon the content on their website or not.
This news arrives on the heels of another Orange County e-cig explosion where the e-cig took off like a rocket and lodged into the man’s ceiling.
