I live on the east coast but spend time each morning reading injury news from all over the planet. On April 29 2016 I sat down and started looking through the news and saw a KTLA article about personal injury lawyers suing Snapchat. I clicked it immediately to discover that at least one of my clients was named in the article repeatedly! I scoured the article for a link, which was unfortunately stripped, as most news agencies do out of sheer ignorance. But, this was a syndicated article.
I puled a sentence from the article and Googled it and result #1 was CNN. I clicked on to CNN’s page and there it was, the original article, complete with links!!!
This is hands down the most holistic and organic for of personal injury SEO there is. This is the holy grail of SEO which well over 99.999% of SEO practitioners will never aim for, let alone achieve.
When it comes to personal injury content you need to be first or be better. I have had the joy of being mentioned by local news agencies, journalists, Huffinton Post, Yahoo News, Wikipedia, CNN and others now many times. Tis is what happens when you create content instead of regurgitate it. It is literally the difference between being a super star and being cow vomit!
The CNN article was exceptional and was re-posted on well over 400 websites including 30+ news agencies which did not strip the links out. I personally know people who have spent well over $500,000.00 on SEO and never had a return 1/100th as comparable to that.
If you provide valuable content, people will need to reference it at some point, including reporters and journalists. Make their life easier and forget SEO exists when creating this type of content. SEO is not about manipulating search engines, it is about providing value.
